Busy, Busy, Busy!!!!

I haven't posted in a while because my Mommy has been super busy trying to get a bunch of papers written for her graduate courses, so naturally I have been equally busy distracting her and making her want to pull her hair out:) 

My favorite thing to do when Mommy is studying is to wonder around the house picking up things that do not belong to me and trying to chew on them until my Mommy gets up and takes them from me.  When she takes one thing from me I like to find another thing so that she has to get up again;)  At this point my Mommy usually puts me in my kennel with a couple of my toys so that I will let her get some work done.  This is when I take the opportunity to take a nap and rest up for my next attempt to drive Mommy Crazy...hehehe....
  

Meet Berkley

Hi My Name is Berkley!  I am a handsome blonde Cocker Spaniel with little brown freckles on my nose.  I am about nine months old.  I have three cats named Alex, Kenya, and June.  I also have a sister whose name is Lily, she is a Golden Retriever.  Lily lives with my Big Momma Joyce.  I live with my three cats and my Mom Genee. 

My Mom decided to start this blog to share with people all of the silly and often annoying things I do that drive her crazy.  All the people I meet think I am so cute and sweet, but my Mom thinks they need to know the truth.  I can be sweet, it's true, but when I'm at home with Mom...let's just say, it's a different story. 

Some of my favorite things to do include chasing my cats and pouncing on them when they least expect it, chewing up papers, shoes, electric cords, zippers, and just about anything I see on the floor or table that I can get to.  I also enjoy trying to get to the cat's litter box so that I can steal the little treats they leave behind.  Mom put up a gate, but I am very sneaky and sometimes I manage to get through.  Another thing I like to do when I'm board is jump on Mom while she is sitting or lying on the couch watching T.V., it's really funny because she usually jumps up and screams as I bound away smiling.  She claims I leave bruises and scratches when I do this, but I don't see how that's possible.  I play like that with my doggie friends all the time and they never get these bruises and scratches my Mom speaks of.  Honestly, I think she is making them up. 

Well I have to go now, I see June sleeping on her back and I must go pounce on her.  Keep coming back to my site for more stories about me and my family.
